I'm tired and I got to hold a duckling!
ah, I am so tired.
we have been packing and getting ready to leave tomorrow for a festival in western mass.
and i am totally pooped.
I did get to hold a little baby ducky today though...
there were 2 babies trying to get up a little wall to their momma ducky so i tried to help them up
let me just say, man those ducklings can run!
anyways, one found a way up on its own and the other one I helped.
highlight of my day!
it was soooooooooooooo cute!!!
i want ducks.
end of story!
ok, too tired to even really explain or express the amount of emotion today...
have a good weekend,
see you all on sunday... or monday... depending on how tired i am after the fest.

ACK!
It is so hot today!
I know I shouldn't complain,
I don't really mind the heat too much,
but I do get cranky if I can't cool off...
All I wanted to do today was go to the beach and possibly go swimming
(I'm not much of a sun bather),
but even though I live by the ocean and right up the street from the beach it didn't happen...
I did get a parking ticket today though!
SUCK!
I spent the afternoon driving in the beginning of tourist traffic and trying to pay stupid bills.
I ended up fighting with the people at kelly ryan about my excise tax...
I paid it,
thought it got lost in the mail because I got a late notice,
then finally put a stop on the check (because the new bill with a late fee is due Friday),
went to the town hall to pay the fee again today
only to have them tell me it was already processed and that I would probably have a fee for the stop on the check.
Um... WTF!?!
So after having the call dropped 2 times because cell reception here in Fishtown sucks,
I tried calling kelly ryan
(let me just note that kelly ryan makes be so mad and therefore does not merit capitals anywhere in the spelling, unless it is a personally chosen work of description following the name)
and talked to the biggest bitch ever (sorry if my language offends) who wouldn't even listen to me
and ended up in tears...
Luckily, the one time the bank was being cool and the people were nice was today.
The woman at the bank got to the stop in time and lifted it.
So the problem should be solved.
Let's hope, fingers crossed....
But I still got a parking ticket.
All because I was being nice (and indecisive)
and letting the people at the consignment shop go ahead of me while I finished really deciding.
ACK! right?
Ok sorry for the TOTAL ramble.
Here are some wishing photos,
as in I wish I made it to the beach to attempt swimming today...
I kinda wish I looked like this...
This is how I sit and soak up the sun when I am at the beach... NOT!
I am not quite sure why, but I just really like this...
Ok, would someone please explain this too me?
If it is hot enough to be in your bathing suit and have your top coming off,
why the HELL would you be wearing socks!?!
This is completely moronic.
Ahh, here we go, this is what I wanted to do!
Perfect and refreshing!
How was your day?
Is it hot where you live?

Farmer's Market
Yesterday Andy and I went to a farmer's market a few towns over,
its just a little ways past the awesome flea market that we like going to on Sundays...
I wanted to check it out as a possible vending opportunity.
However, I don't really think it is going to work.
It isn't that big,
plus it is really expensive for a farmers market
($50 a week as a crafter)
and it is almost and hour away,
plus I would have to show my work first since it is jurried...
Arrrg.
Oh well, maybe I can try it one week (if I can get in)
and see if it is worth that price...
Until then, here are some pretty farmers market inspired photos:
mmm, berries!!!
How cute is this!?!
I love this!
The glorious land of broccoli!
This is my fave!
Beautiful garden!
Beautiful beets...
I love how the table cloth matched the carrot tops perfectly!
Great color combo...
Yum, yum!
Look at these goodies!
What vibrant color!
I am not a huge fan of radishes, but they sure are beautiful in their simplicity!
Enjoy the rest of your afternoon!
I am off to attempt to get some felting done.
Au Revoir!

Puppet FUN!
Here is another fun photo of a puppet though!
This is the Gypsy dancing with our Friend Cindy from Harry's Hill up in Starks, ME!
Right now we are getting ready for Strange Creek out in Greenfield, MA.
We are going to be performing the new (small) puppet show that I wrote the story for and made the puppets and backdrops for as well...
It is called "Flora and the Magic Seeds"
I am still not crazy about the name, but it will have to do...
I have been working on the illustrations for this story
(that I wrote a couple of years ago)
to make it into a children's book.
Maybe on day I will have it finished and someone will want to publish it!
That would be great!
I am super critical, and there is so much I am not sure I like or definitely don't like about the story, illustrations and even the finished puppets!
It is really annoying to always see the flaws in work that initially is so exciting.
But I have to let some of it go because I don't want to be too obsessive compulsive and never have it actually finished!
That would be terrible...
Anyway, I still have to finish the illustrations,
but until then, I will be wishing and manifesting!
Hope you all have a wonderful monday!
Lovin' you all!

I am fascinated by this dress she is wearing...
It looks as though it might be felted under the sheer fabric.
I want to see!!!
