Brit, years ago before Amanda was born I worked at Dexter's Hearthside Restaurant just down the road from this house. Chet and Lydia Roberts lived in this house and came to the restaurant almost every night for dinner. She was a dumpling with a ponytail and funny glasses. He was a burly and gentle man with thick dark hair and seemed shy. They were an interesting couple. I wonder who lives there now? Maybe they are still there... I love your pictures of this beautiful house- Jules
erin- yikes i don't blame you, i would be as well!!! i have actually seen the water even higher up than this, i can't imagine the maintenance they have to do on this... i wonder if it smells moldy!?!
