Shiny in the Rain

Today is rather glum,

but it is just the sort of day for a nice quiet, slow paced walk walk in the woods with pup by my side and umbrella in hand.

It is dark and damp, but the fresh, new spring leaves are still a bright yellowy green anyway.

They love this weather,

soaking in the moisture,

growing bigger, softer, brighter!

Later I am going to see if I can muster up enough quality light to take photos of what I have been working on.
