I want to go to....

NORTH CAROLINA!

I don't know what it is, but for the past few years, there has been something calling me down there.

I just have this feeling about it.

Like there is something there for me.

Like I need to go there.

Like I am being pulled there.

I know there are a lot of artists there,

that is is a place with a rich history,

and great music...

But that's about all I know,

other than that I really,

really,

REALLY

want to visit!

I hope I can save some money to make a trip!

Have any of you ever been to NC?

Do you know anyone who lives there?

I want to visit Ashville for sure

and maybe the coast.

and definitely goats... ha ha ha!

Anyone have any suggestions for my dream?

Interior Dreams

So, we are trying to move.

Were we are now looks like a dream,

but in reality it can be a nightmare...

It gets damp and moldy,

the windows are all rotting out,

the landlords are in complete denial and "don't have any money"

(meanwhile living in nice towns in nice houses)

They finally fixed the roof last summer,

it was leaking into the house in about 7 places,

some of which were over electrical units (hello fire hazard)!

Not cool!

And after they fixed it, the landlord told me she was sorry because until she saw the photos,

she didn't realize how bad it was...

Even though I had called and emailed her many times,

she basically thought I was lying or exaggerating...

Umm, WHF lady!?!

Its a (crazy) family estate,

so obviously they can't and won't get it together.

Plus they think it is shang-ri-la here...

RIGHT, NOT!

Anyways, we are thinking of moving to Maine.

Some friends have offered us some employment so...

It would be so nice to find a place like what we are in,

but without the mold,

the drama,

and waaaaaay cheaper!

It would be nice to be able to really have furniture where I want it

and decorate the way I want to

instead of thinking

"oh, that can't go there because it will get moldy"

or even to be able to put my clothes in a closet or dresser without them smelling moldy or mildewy when I take them out!
