With all of the crap out there in the markets,
and advertising being a corporate scandal,
it is so important to know where your food comes from.
Even organic can be a joke.
Get to know your local farms and farmers,
support local,
not only is it good for you,
but it is also good for your community,
and economy!
This little man seems to know what it is all about!
i won't say that i don't eat crap that i know was created in a laboratory, because i do, but i think it's really important to know where your food comes from, and to know that it is actually food, not a lab creation. that's why i'm happy that we have a garden so our summer and fall meals can be filled with food we KNOW is organic, and about as local as it gets!
ReplyDeletemost definitely, Danielle! there are things that we get that is crap, but sometimes it is good to :indulge"... But having your own garden is the best! I normally do a lot of gardening, but this year we weren't really home enough and now that the season is slowing, I am really feeling like I missed out... next year, there will be more gardening for sure!
