New Years Eve

Today is New Years Eve! I am tired today, didn't sleep well last night, but am looking forward to seeing our friends tonight. Its funny, I have been running into all of these old friends and aquaintences, which is interesting. Its nice to see faces from what seems like a distant life of years ago... Its funny how we all seem to travel in circles. Friends, spirits - souls, we come together in this life, finding each other in passing, in times of need, through other people and friends. Sometimes we have people that come into our lives suddenly, unexpectedly and then disapear just as quickly. Other times, we meet people that we bond with and cultivate long relationships with, friendship or otherwise. I am always fascinated with how people come to be who they are and who they surround themselves with.

I don't know if I have any New Years resolutions (actually, I never really do, and if I do, I don't really take them seriously, they are more like passing thoughts). There are many ongoing dreams that I continually work at achieving, however. They sometimes rotate which order they are present in my mind, but my energy is always spent trying to move my self towards those dreams... I always love hearing about other resolutions and dreams. What is the driving force in your life?
