New Moves

I had a visit the other day with a friend, Crystal (in the white top), who came home from NJ for a bit.

We met for coffee/tea and then headed to the common for some hooping with a couple of her friends.

It was such a beautiful, warm day.

I always miss Crystal and am happy when she visits.

And I had been missing hooping.

Also, I finally figured out a move that I had been trying to get for years thanks to a new friend!

So excited!!!

Evolution

I don't have many words to share today.

Even though I have said this, there are is a whole verbal dialogue going on in my head.

It just doesn't feel like coming out.

Anyway, this is what my eyes saw the other day.

I am off to go for a walk with Veda and a friend.

Can you believe this kid!?!

He was like 8 (well, actually I don't really know how old he was, but he was small and ballsy, that's for damn sure!)

My good friend, Dennis, and I took Miss VedaLou on a walk around the Res. after my fair today

and when we got to this part, this kid was like "hey, wanna see me do a backflip?"

I thought he was joking at first, but then he did it.

It was craaaaaaazy!

Then his friend did a dive in

and I was like "whoa!"

an afternoon with friends, Part 2

It is grey and damp here today at the little stone house.

We have been having problems with the well/water, which makes me really miss drinking from the faucet and realize how much I hate having to buy bottled water.

So today I am really appreciating looking at these photos of a few days ago where the weather was really nice and we were out and about...
