A Day At The Beach

sunny fall days...

A beautiful fall day

at Wingersheek beach

which is right at the mouth of the Annisquam river...

I love the color of the water

and the marsh grass.

I love winding waterway

and the contrast of textures it creates on the landscape.

And I love the smell of the briny sea air.

I woke up this morning feeling anxious,

not exactly sure why,

just a general overwhelmingness.

Maybe its the sharp wind that is moving through the trees

forcing them to dance a frantic ballet...

Either way, it sure is beautiful out.
