I wish I got my camera out faster for this little guys fantastic bath,
it was quite dramatic!
But honestly, I was so distracted by his fluffy, bathing fury, that by the time I got my camera out and on, I was lucky to get this shot!
It is amazing, this is at the beach in a little rain pool on the edge of the shoreline, right behind where I am sitting... I don't think I have seen cardinals at the beach before.
There is a pasture/field that one walks through to get to this beach, so there are lots of birds inhabiting the area, I just haven't ever seen them down on the beach.
I am getting ready for the Gloucester Sidewalk Bazaar downtown starting tomorrow until Saturday.
